Backstory

Kraven was born the sole heir of the Kravinoff family fortune; at the time, the Kravinoff family was one of the wealthiest and most influential in the northern part of the City, having accrued such wealth and comfort through shady dealings with the Middle. Growing up, Kraven was aware of this fact; however, the Machiavellian "canis canem edit" mindset they inherited from their family meant they felt no guilt in knowing their privileged position was directly linked to the suffering of folks in the Backstreets. If anything, it was a cause for pride. After all, an animal must do what they can to ensure the survival of themself and their young.Kraven spent the majority of their adult life working as a Fixer, making a name for themself as a Distortion hunter. It was during one such hunt that Kraven would meet the woman they'd later go on to call the love of their life: Sasha Aleksandra Nikolaevich, a Fixer of a higher grade than them, hired by a different group to hunt the very same Distortion Kraven was after. They fought over who would claim the prey; Kraven stood no chance. For them, it was love at first blood.The two would go on to get married, with Sasha moving into the Kravinoff family manor and bearing Kraven's daughter, their beloved Ana. Kraven's life was perfect, as they garnered more and more recognition as a Fixer, reaching all the way to Grade 4. Their reputation, however, would end up leading to their doom, as one day, they took on a job that required them to take out a target. Unbeknownst to Kraven, their mark was a collaborator of the Middle. Their Book of Vengeance spoke clear, and Kraven's fate was set: they were to lose everything they held dear.Kraven was away from the manor that night, on yet another Distortion-hunting job. That night, they faced off against an enormous, arachnoid monstrosity, and, for their first time since their fight with Sasha, they failed. Their fear got the better of them and they were unable to take down their prey, barely managing to make it out of the hunt alive. When they returned to the manor, they were horrified to see that it had been set ablaze: rushing in, they found the halls lined with the blood and scattered remains of their parents and wife. Little Ana was nowhere to be found, taken away by the Syndicate whose emblem was left etched all over for Kraven to find. In that moment, Kraven was unable to maintain a grip on their own humanity, and they distorted into a mindless, frenzied creature. The hunter, the man, had become the beast.The chimera Kraven had become went on a brief rampage throughout the City, slaughtering whoever it came across as if it were second nature. Before long, however, the beast's fury met its match in a powerful Fixer: the Red Gaze himself, who swiftly defeated the Distortion just like Kraven themself had done countless times before. After Kraven was defeated, their body returned to normal, leaving them the broken husk of a hunter, holding nothing but a grudge they had no way of settling. After all, they knew they had no chance of taking revenge on the Middle by themself. It was then that Kraven was approached by a peculiar white-haired individual, who sought to recruit them into an organisation known as "Limbus Company"...

Aside from their shotgun, they carry a dagger with them.➤ Their greatest strengths are their cunning and their impressive agility, which they exploit to the best of their ability in combat. On the other hand, their weakness is their low stamina: because Kraven is always going all-out, they tend to get exhausted rather quickly, which leads to them letting down their guard.➤ Kraven is an extremely proud and arrogant individual. They live life with the assumption that they are superior to all others, until proven otherwise. They are a total show-off, as well as a massive flirt. However, they are remarkably loyal and respectful to those who they believe have proven themselves worthy.➤ Kraven is very flashy, extravagant and flamboyant, with a taste for the gaudish.
